Testimonials
Hi Beth,
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone and let you know what a great time my son and I had at White Mountain Exploration. Jenny and Willow were quite accomodating and made our experience enjoyable and memorable. Willow's lunches were perfect for our dietary needs and she made kayaking, mountain biking and zip lining very exciting. We were also very impressed with Richard Parker and felt lucky to have him as our rock climbing guide - what an awesome experience! I will sing your praise and recommend you to others. Thank again!!!
Best regards,
JK
Beth, please pass this email along to everyone there at Tenney Mountain .
This week end was the best time my wife and I have experienced.
The Yurt was the best. We enjoyed the tent nature of the yurt with the few extras that go along with staying in this yurt. We were treated like we were old friends. Right from the start with the simple telephone call from Jen making sure we were still coming and that we were okay and nothing had happened to us. Try to get that from a Hotel/Motel, yea RIGHT.
The first day with Willow as our kayak guide was great. She was willing to teach us all we needed to know as second timers in kayaks and took it one step further for us to get the most from our kayak trip.
That afternoon we were to do the zip-line however it was raining and thundering. I called down to the base camp the staff had already set us up for the zip-line the next day at 2 pm to make sure we could still have this experience.
Day two rock climbing, Richard was absolutely superb. There is no other word to describe our rock climbing debut. We were lucky to have only the two of us but Richard took us to Rumney and up to clippydoda, his suggestion, and a great one. He did tell us it would be more of a hike but the climb would be great. He was not kidding. Climbing for the first time I would imagine is tough for anyone however he encouraged us the whole time. At the top of clippydoda we felt as though we were on top of the world. Was that the end OH no Richard then took us down to vertigo. We both looked at him and said are you nuts we going to climb that. He say of course both of you are going to have no problem after what I saw at clipptydoda. He was right. Thinking you have accomplished a great task climbing clipptydoda was no joke but to then be able to carry on to vertigo climb was the BEST. Richard is great.
The second day afternoon we moved onto the zip-line and our two guides assisted us in the final accomplishment of the weekend and that we could do this course and still amaze ourselves.
This complete weekend was fantastic and we will be back no question
PS we just need time to recover from the fun ( and sore legs and arms and backs) but every bit of this trip was worth it.
If you ever need to use me for a reference please do not hesitate to anyone call me
Good morning Beth,
I just wanted to send you a note to thank you and the entire WME team for an amazing weekend! We cannot say enough about how great the zip line canopy tour and our stay in the Yurt was. If you ever need a customer testimonial call us!
From the get-go you were extraordinarily helpful in getting us set-up. Then when we arrived, Jenny took such good care of us – and continued to do so the entire weekend. And our canopy tour guides, Zach and Brian. These guys are amazing! I was petrified about a lot of the challenges, but their patience, knowledge and humor got me through – and at points I wanted to do it for them. When we come back for the finished tour in the fall we will be requesting them for sure!
I have attached a picture of the group (minus me) with our guides at the end of our adventure. The rest of the group has lots of great photos and some video too that we can share with you if you like – including a first person video account of a zip line. The second picture is the view from the yurt that greeted me Saturday morning. Looking forward to that view in the fall.
Thank you, thank you! We all had an amazing weekend and look forward to becoming regulars at Mt. Tenney. Tell Jenny to get on the wood stove for our Yurt and the winter proof shower house cause I will ski down from the front door for sure!
Cheers!
Jenny
Sherry,
I attended the open house for your new zip line and I must
say that it is an awesome adventure.. The guides were
awesome too. Not only was it refreshing and fun but it made me feel
apart of a group again. Again, I think this is a great adventure that I
will be doing with my family.
Many thanks,
Aimee
Tim,
We enjoy reading your articles in the Nashua Telegraph every week. I
wanted to thank you in particular for the article last week about
Adventure Gorge at Tenney Mountain. My wife and I had not heard about it
until we read your article. We looked at the weather forecast for last
week and picked Friday to make reservations for 3 of us (including my 14
yo son). We had a fabulous time, it was a perfect day, and the adventure
was well worth it. I normally HATE heights, so the thrill was probably
greater for me. Nonetheless, I felt comfortable with the safety
precautions they used. Thanks for your articles and again for this great
tip.

Hello Peter...
.
I took the kayak level II class on Sunday from Mark Flemming...he did an awesome job...I learnt so much and feel much more confident in my kayaking skills and leading trips for the AMC Worcester Chapter...
He did a wonderful job of making the class fun but instilling safety, stroke techniques, tips and tricks about kayaking and equipment..Great Job!
In fact his enthusiasm and skills for kayaking makes me want to learn more and take more classes.
Thanks
MM
"I was extremely pleased with this class. This was my first exposure to a wonderful hobby and I'm still amazed at all we did in the time we had. Your instructors made me feel that they were truly interested in my understanding of the principles, and my success. Again, it was a excellent experience as well as an exceptional value"
